As from 17th July we will no longer update this website. We will transfer all Sandys Rebuild to our new website www.sandystravels.net which details our forthcoming trip to Australia and New Zealand starting in March 2012.
At the outset of our original planning we found that much of our information came from other peoples web sites that had travelled before us, they had recorded details and helpful information. Therefore this web site will remain for a few years and hopefully be of help to future travellers going to Africa. Should you wish to copy or take any information for your personal use, feel free?

We are shortly setting off early next year to South Africa by road in our Land Rover “Sandy” This is a record of our preparation and travels from England down to South Africa.
